POWER METER SOFTWARE
By Anthony Moran
Apr 3, 2006

As we pointed out in a previous article one of the drawbacks of the power meter is the amount od data produced. For a new user this can make it difficult to analyse individual rides.

A number of people have seen the graphs on this site and asked what software I use to analyse rides. The 2 software packages I use are availble at the following links

You have to register to download the applications but it is worth it. For CyclingPeaks you get a 14 day trial and you must decide then if you wish to buy it. The prices are available on their site.  Well worth a visit is the SRM site at www.srm.de which has some power files that you can download and peruse. One file is from Bjarne Riis winning Liege-Bastogne-Liege (I think!) I dont know if their software can be used with a Power-tap but you can download it to try.

If I had to choose I would choose CyclingPeaks, in fact I have chosen already!
