Badminton Ireland invites applications for the post of Regional Badminton Development Officer
Appointment for a 12 month contract. In line with the Badminton Ireland Strategic Plan to ensure the growth of Irish Badminton, Badminton Ireland with the support of the Irish Sports Council wish to appoint a Regional Badminton Development Officer to help manage and co-ordinate the growth of the game at local level.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the post-holder will be a key member of the Badminton Ireland’s professional staff and will have responsibility for the successful implementation of Badminton Ireland’s Development Strategy.
The position will be on a flexible full-time basis average of 37 hrs per week for covering the area:
· Dublin, Louth, Meath, Westmeath, Wicklow
The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills including IT and the ability to work on their own initiative. Knowledge of badminton is an advantage but not a necessity. Use of a car is essential.
