Training for Paris Roubaix Espoir. The main race this month which I want to do well in is the Under 23 version of Paris Roubaix, which is on Sunday 28th May. The Irish have a good record in the race, with Stephen Roche winning what was then the amateur version of the race, and Aiden Duff and Ciaran Power both getting top 15 results in the Under 23 race. UPDATE: TRAINING IN AUSTRALIA Stephen Gallagher from Richill in Co Armagh who has been selected for the Commonwealth games in Australia in March is riding for the professional Giant Asia, Jamijo Overseas Property Agents Team for 2006.
Stephen will race alongside two other other Irish riders, Belfast’s David McCann and Paul Griffin From Tralee in Co Kerry. Stephen has previously been based in Belgium with the Flanders squad and has also competed professionally with Team Endurasport.
