Coaching People with Disabilities
Welcome to new Coaching People with Disabilities Section of our website
This section of the website aims to support the work of coaches and tutors in the application of their coaching knowledge and skills to create an environment which encourages people with disabilities to participate in sport and physical activity.
The materials present here have been designed for use by National Governing Bodies, tutors, coaches, and disability awareness trainers deployed by Coaching Ireland. The materials can be used on NGB coach education courses at Introduction to Coaching and Level 1; and on stand alone Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Workshops for coaches and other sports leaders, co-ordinated by Coaching Ireland.
