Liam Moggan teaching in Lima

Liam Moggan (NCTC) has recently returned from Lima, Peru where he successfully presented a Tutor Development program for the F.E.I. (Federation Equestrian Internationale). Tutors for six South American countries travelled to Peru to attend the Tutor Development course. Liam is pictured here with some tutors on the course.

The first panel of regional Tutors recently underwent their first course for tutors in Lima within the framework of the Coach Education system. The aim of this course being to train new tutors in order to deliver courses regionally. The Peruvian National Federation accepted the challenge to organise simultaneously a Level 2 course for coaches and a course on communication using Adult Learning Technique for Tutors. The “Escuela de Caballeria” (Cavalry school) in Lima made its vast facilities available for this occasion thus enabling a very successful course. Indeed, the large dressage arena, excellent quality grass jumping arena, IT equipped classrooms and a generously furnished cafeteria ensured that all went smoothly and in the best conditions. Six candidates selected by the FEI attended the course conducted by Liam Moggan, a specialist in communication from the National Coaching & Training Centre (NCTC) in Limerick, IRL.
