Information Evening on the Prevention and Management of Hamstring Injury
Date: Thursday January 22nd, 7pm-8.30.
The inaugural public lecture of the mid-western branch of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (www.iscp.ie) will take place on Thursday January 22nd in the Health Sciences Building at the University of Limerick. The talk will focus on hamstring injury in sport, and discuss what is currently recommended in the prevention and management of hamstring injury. It is expected that the talk will be of interest to many different groups, including physiotherapists, doctors, strength and conditioning trainers, personal trainers, coaches and athletes themselves. There will be time provided at the end of the talk for questions.
The speaker will be Kieran O’Sullivan, Chartered Physiotherapist, and lecturer at the University of Limerick.
Attendance at the talk is free, and no advance booking is required.
