Congratulations to Irish Baton Twirling Team on their recent performace
Ireland returned from Canada with 21 medals in total, it was a great result this year and Ireland as a country placed 6th in the world overall. Sophie Doyne placed 13th in the world in Junior Women
Sandra Doyle placed 11th in the world in Senior Woman. Senior Pair placed 6th. Ireland placed 6th in the team event. (Team pictured on right)
Detail of new Tutor Course being run by NCTC
As part of the National Coaching Development Programme the NCTC in partnership with National Governing Bodies train tutors, who have been nominated by their respective NGB’s. Tutors play an enormously important role within every National Governing Body, specifically in the design, delivery and review of coach education programmes. To date seven hundred and twenty six tutors have completed Level 2 Tutor training. In the past two years the NCTC has also run nine sports specific tutor courses.
