May 29th and 30th saw the completion of the contact part  of the Adventure Sports Tutor Course 2010. 

Paul Donnelly, Tom Bannon,  John Pierce, Peter Larkin, Lorcan McDonnell,and Dave Carroll from ICU, along with Ashleigh Smith from ISA (surf) and Iain Biddulph and Steve Thomas from ISA started the course in February, which saw them travel to Howth Yacht Club and the newly refurbished Tollymore National Outdoor Centre in Co. Down, as well as UL for parts of their course.  Hayley Harrison (Coaching Ireland) was the tutor trainer and the course was internally verified by Fiona Larkin (Coaching Ireland).  These trainee tutors will now work with trained tutors within their own NGB and will be both facilitated and assessed within their own environment.  Well done to everybody!
