As part of its mission, Coaching Ireland strives to develop new ideas and services which are of use to NGB's, coaches, players and athletes.

The centre also disseminates relevent information based on internation best practice, to NGB's coaches players and athletetes.

In the area of sports technology, the Centre is committed to developing tools which will help athletes and coaches in a practical way.

The centre has also undertaken research into the needs of players and athletes and will publish the results in the near future.
